Leading up to our first meeting with SASL (Sight Advice South Lakes) I have been working on a better interface, along with bug fixes for the game. Above are the two displays which indicate the different control methods. The turning mode is indicated by the circle in the middle with an arrow and the fixed control mode is represented by the two crossed double sided arrows. These can be toggled between and will be used interchangeably for testing purposes. This new overlay aims to better represent the use of both the keyboard and joystick being possible. The initial audio does need some tweaking, but the turning controls have been fixed to the point where gliding and mis-angling when using the turning controls are no longer occurring. A bump sound is needed for close wall collision, alongside a need to revamp the entirety of the sound profiles for individual objects to further differentiate between each of their meanings within the game space.
