Why do certain images speak to us in a language like way when their content is so abstract?

Never judge a book by its cover, yet it’s cover is designed to invoke its contents in some essence, and is the only draw into what lies within.

The ‘that feels like yesterday’ effect.

Because time is a dimension and doesn’t exist as something binary, things can feel like ‘along time ago’ or ‘just like yesterday’ depending on our relative special position within four dimension space.
